SAF 2013 tea dying techniques - tea dyed felt borders
August 24, 2013
Good morning, everyone! I have a tea dyed border tutorial video to share with you for Papertrey Ink's Stamp-a-Faire Tea Dying Techniques...
Here are a few still photos from the project that I created in the video...
A shot of the felt colors and lace before they went into the tea dye.
The felt and lace soaking in the tea.
After the felt & lace came out of the dye next to the original felt colors so you can compare.
Here are the finished cards that I created. The "happy anniversary" sentiment is from the Think Big Favorites #16 set.
The felt border on this card uses the Rick Rack border die and the leaf from the Mighty Oak die.
So, SO pretty - Chad already asked me if this was his anniversary card for this year ;)
The flowered border uses the Leafy Vine border die and the small flower is a Flipping Out die.
So pretty. I love the soft muted colors that happen with tea dying.
You can see more Tea Dying Techniques over at Nichole's blog.
Happy tea dying!
