papertrey ink october release wrap up

It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the countdown will be available to purchase tonight, October 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this October release to share with you...

Here is a card and tag set created with Dawn's 2013 Holiday Tags set. I embossed the images with a super fine detail clear embossing powder (regular embossing powder is too chunky for the images fine details) and then colored in the images by watercoloring with ink refills.

It give the image a very rustic look and feel - I love it.

I used the new Tag Sale #8 dies to create the tag - I trim off the bottom point to wrap the ribbon and twine around the bottom of the tag.

Next up is a card with Melissa's Polka Dot Parade and Background Basics: Christmas Joy sets...

I went all neutral/monochromatic with this little card and it just turned out so sweet.

I used Fine Linen for the background and then Classic Kraft for the tree. The In the Meadow snowdrift die was perfect to ground the tree on the card and just right for adding a bit of snowy glitter along the top edge.

And finally a card using the Confetti Garland Borders set - except my confetti snowflakes are flying around the card instead of being strung into a garland. I stamped the snowflakes in Ocean Tides and Fresh Snow ink onto the Ocean Tides cardstock.

I stitched up the new Stitched Snowflake die cut shape with Rustic Jute button twine and added the "let it snow" sentiment from the new 'Tis the Season sentiments set.
