introducing everyday happiness and year round happiness and more wonderful words: congrats

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the One Liners: Happy dies paired with the companion sets Everyday Happiness and Year Round Happiness. I also have a card to share with my new Wonderful Words: Congrats set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I personally loved working with the previously release One Liner dies and so I was very excited to see the new version with the "happy" word that can be used for so so many different applications.

One type of card that that I am asked if I have some of (family and friends visit my card stash every so often) is anniversary cards. I chose that for the theme of this card and paired script "happy" with the silver embossed "anniversary" on the vellum piece. I ran the vellum through my Xyron machine so that it would be easy to adhere to the card front.

A few hearts were the perfect embellishment for the card that I made using the Heart Prints dies. I used Ocean Tides cardstock for the base and the polka dot paper is from the Beautiful Beads (blue & green mix) paper pack.

This card is something fun and festive to celebrate ringing in the new year! I used the fireworks image from the Red White & Blue set embossed in clear and then watercolored over them with Aqua Mist, Spring Moss, and Berry Sorbet inks for the background.

There's a bit of shimmer that I added on the fireworks - a perfect touch for a card like this!

And finally, a congrats card created with my new Wonderful Words: Congrats set along with the new Tipped Tops die. This tipped look has been quite the trend lately and I love how the dies take the guess work out of how to achieve it.

The "congrats" is die cut from white and if you look close, you can see a sort of ombre shadow peeking out from underneath. That is a second die cut that I stamped with the Bitty Block set in a blue color progression. When I attached them to the card, I offset them just a bit on top of each other for the shadow effect.

You can link up to the rest of the design team to see their projects created with the One Liner: Happy dies, Everyday Happiness, and Year Round Happiness at Nichole's blog. The stamp designers have been busy this month so stop by their blogs too: DawnMelissa, and Lizzie.

Thank you for stopping by, I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
