introducing inside & out: well wishes and more wonderful words: congrats
November 14, 2013
Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! It's another group post day and today the design team is sharing projects created with the new Inside & Out: Well Wishes set. I also have a card to share that uses my new Wonderful Words: Congrats set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
I am not a person who is very good with words and so a stamp set like Inside & Out: Well Wishes is one that is perfect for me. I have 2 cards to share: one with a more masculine tone and then one with a definite feminine look.
I have to say that the fonts that are used in this set are just perfect. Not too swirly and fancy. Just comfortable and nice. The perfect feel for sentiments like these.
This first card I know you can tell has a definite feminine touch. I use the Mini Blooms set to add a pretty little bouquet surrounding the centered sentiment.
You can tell that when I stamped my flowers, each bloom and leaf has a second impression stamped just off slightly from the first image. It actually started as a mistake and I kept going with is for each image and really like the result. Mistakes and oops in stamping can sometimes turn into something great.
My next card using Inside 7 Out: Well Wishes is a more masculine themed card. I kept away from florals and used a lot more pattern to create the card. The 3 banners are die cut and stamped with Background Basics: Needlepoint (!), Background Basics: Farm & Barn, and World Map.
I also added a stamped strip along the right side of the card with the Background Basics: Needlepoint set in Fresh Snow ink. Both cards used Soft Stone cardstock as the base - I really like the subtle look of Fresh Snow ink stamped onto it.
Finally, here is a card created with my new Wonderful Words: Congrats set. This card is perfect for a celebration with lots of bright and cheery stars sprinkled across it.
The congrats is cut from one of the coordinating patterned papers that I used for the stars and then I stamped the "lets celebrate" above the "congrats" word in Fresh Snow ink.
You can link up to the rest of the design team to see their projects created with the Inside & Out: WEll Wishes set at Nichole's blog. The stamp designers have been busy this month so stop by their blogs too: Dawn, Melissa, and Lizzie.
I will be back tomorrow to share the rest of my projects for this November release. See you then!
