love lives here: holiday revisited

Happy November, everyone! I am hoping we have just a little bit longer fall season here in Minnesota before the snow sets in for the winter. We have already had snow fall, just not stick quite yet. My girls had fun Halloween week with a couple different events that we went to. Tacy was a unicorn and Hana was Hermione (she just finished the last book of the Harry Potter series recently and it's quite an obsession for her and her friends...!) If you follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen a picture of the girls dressed up.

The first of the month means that it is also time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and this month we are revisiting the Love Lives Here: Holiday set. If you have holiday card making or crafting going on, it's definitely time to focus and get serious to get things done before Christmas gets here!

Love Lives Here: Holiday is truly a set that speaks to my heart with its rustic country feel. Every time I have picked up the set to stamp with it, I feel like what I create is so homespun and cozy.

I "hung" some stockings across a Mat Stack 6 die cut that I stamped with the pine bough image and sentiment.

The bottom part of the card is embossed with the Peace Be Still impression plate - I didn't run the plate totally through the die cut machine to avoid the harsh upper edge of the plate impressing on the card front.

For my tag, I turned the Mat Stack 6 die on its side and used just one stocking hanging on the stamped pine bough image. I pulled out some eyelets for this project - both on the card and the tag. I think they really finish off anything tag or book plate like that you include on a card or use as a tag. I need to use them more!
