love is in the details...
December 14, 2013
Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown! Today is another group post day and today we are all sharing projects to inspire for occasions celebrating love. All of my projects use my new set The Best is Yet to Be since I haven't shared much with it during this countdown.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
First up is a sweet tag to tie onto a special Valentine's gift. I used the new Tag Sale #9 for the tag base. I love the 2 option of sizes that makes it easy to layer. I did kraft cardstock for the top tag and then Sweet Blush patterned paper for the underneath tag.
The heart embellishment is one that I made with paper clay and the Coffee Cozy Details (heart) die back during Stamp-a-Faire this past August! I used silver thread to sew around the outside of the heart with a quick whip stitch and attached it to the tag along with a heart stamped in Sweet Blush ink from the new Happy Hearts set.
The large "love" is from The Best is Yet to Be and then I stamped the "you" under it in Smokey Shadow ink. There are several single words and small sentiments in the set so you can coordinate your sentiment perfectly for your project.
Next is a sweet card to celebrate an anniversary. I used the heart frame shape from the new Limitless Layers: Stitched Hearts die collection in white cardstock and stitched each outline with silver thread. I paired it with the the Stitched Pinked Edge Label die cut from Sweet Blush cardstock that I also stitched the edges with silver thread and stamped the "happy anniversary" sentiment onto with Smokey Shadow ink.
I added floral embellishments to the heart frame and tag using The Best is Yet to Be images and the coordinating die cuts. A few more blossoms stamped in Fresh Snow ink finished off the card.
Finally, a wedding card and coordinating tag.
For the wedding card, I stamped the "wedding" word from The Best is Yet to Be in Smokey Shadow ink and then added the "congratulations" in Fresh Snow ink. A few floral images are stamped around the sentiment in Classic Kraft ink. I stamped the Limitless Layers: Stitched Hearts die cut with the floral border image in Fine Linen ink and then added a glittered heart to the center for a bit of sparkle.
For the tag, I used the larger Tag Sale #9 die cut from kraft cardstock, added a stamped heart like on the card, and then added a little "Mr. & Mrs." banner piece that I made with kraft cardstock and the Double Ended Banners die.
Stop by Nichole's blog to link up to the rest of the design team to see their projects created with the Happy Hearts and Cover Plate: Hearts die. The stamp designers have been busy this month so stop by their blogs too: Melissa, Lexi, Erin, and Lizzie.
Thank you for stopping by today! I will be back soon to share the rest of my projects for this December release!
