papertrey ink december release wrap up
December 15, 2013
It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the countdown will be available to purchase tonight, December 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
Today I have the rest of my projects for this December release to share with you...
First up is this Dawn's new Boutique Borders: Valentine set.
I had a little fun creating a heart embellishment for this card using one of my The Best is Yet to Be dies. I covered the heart with red heart confetti and glitter and then the arrow pieces with a white gold glitter. I could see making up a bunch of these for more Valentine cards!
I stamped the sentiment onto a Double Ended Banners die and love how perfectly is fits right into the frame from Boutique Border: Valentine.
Here is a card created with Lexi's new Cupid's Arrow set paired with a sentiment from the new Inside & Out: Love set.
I stamped a background with the arrows onto kraft cardstock using Pure Poppy, Hibiscus Burst, and Fresh Snow ink.
The sentiment is stamped onto the Tag Sale #9 die that I trimmed the top off and tipped to the side. The heart image on the sentiment is also from Cupid's Arrow.
Next, a card using Lizzie's new Propose a Toast set. I "clinked" my glasses together and added some chunky glitter for some fizz.
The sentiment is stamped onto the banner image from Erin's new It's a Banner Day set - a perfect look for this card!
That glitter tape is from Target (Dollar Spot!) and it added just the perfect amount of shimmer and shine to this project.
This card is made using this month's Polka Dot Parade #11 designed by Melissa.
I just love the little sweet branch in the set and stamped it with selective inking with the branch in Classic Kraft and the leaves in Spring Moss onto the Tag Sale #9 die cut from white cardstock (I really like this new tag sale shape!)
And finally, a card created with the new Solid Stitches and Swirls set. I pulled out the original Stitches and Swirls set and stamped the large image in the set with Pure Poppy Ink and then added the solid images from the new set in Classic Kraft ink.
I used sentiments from the Inside & Out: Love set to turn this card into one celebrating an anniversary. The Stitches and Swirls images are so versatile though and could be used for so many themes of cards!
