It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the countdown will be available to purchase tonight, January 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
Today I have the rest of my projects for this January release to share with you...
First up is the Polka Dot Parade #12 set and Polka Dot Parade Alphabet set by Melissa. We have a special birthday coming up in our family and so this set was perfect timing!
I had some fun with using a heat and stick embossing powder so that I could glitter up the images on this card. To learn about how to use heat & stick embossing powder, see my Make it Monday video tutorial here. To learn how to make any of the Papertrey Ink colors embossable, see my tutorial here.
I really love the coordinating Polka Dot Parade Alphabet - how perfect to go with any of the Polka Dot Parade sets, but also as a fun alphabet option in my collection.
The "hope you are on your way to better days" sentiment seemed to work perfectly with the music and "keep singing" sentiment for a card to send to someone who needs a note of love and encouragement.
And finally, a card using Dawn's Boutique Border: Friends set. I paired the framed sentiment with flowers from the new Doodlie-Do set that I stamped in Classic Kraft ink and then colored in with chalks.
I added a few pops of white with a white gel pen to the flowers to finish them off.

Thank you so much for joining me for the Papertrey Ink January release count down! Happy stamping and I will see you again soon!
