introducing special delivery & more hippity hoppity

Welcome to another day of the Papertrey Ink's 7th anniversary and February release countdown! Today is another group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Special Delivery and Special Delivery Sentiments sets.

All of the new sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on February 15th, 10PM Eastern, at Papertrey Ink.

How fun are Erin's new Special Delivery sets? This little truck can be transformed into so many different kinds of vehicles and then with all the different sentiments there are so many possibilities! I chose to create my cards with the little mail truck - how perfect is that for sending some mail to a loved one?

For the first card I kept it simple. I paired the mail truck with images from the Postmarks set - such a great combination to use together.

I stamped the images from Postmarks onto kraft cardstock with Classic Kraft ink for a background pattern, added the striped border to the bottom and even stuck a postmark right onto the little mail truck.

Now getting card in the mail itself is fun, but why not make the card a little more fun as well? I created a sort of confetti pocket to put the mail truck into with a clear acetate envelope that I cut down to size  and then added some confetti that I punched from cardstock and some sequins too.

The mail truck is free floating in the confetti bag so you can sort of shake things around a bit too.

So fun! I know that the rest of the design team will have lots of inspiration of ideas for this little truck from the Special delivery set. You can link up to everyone over at Nichole's blog.

Finally today, I have another card to share that uses my new Hippity Hoppity set. And he's peeking over a bunch of flowers to send you Easter greetings!

I stamped the flowers with the new Circle Scribbles set. The solid flower is stamped with the back of the stamp and then I flipped it over and stamped the "scribble" image into the solid stamped image. I colored the details on the bunny image with Copic markers.
