It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the countdown will be available to purchase tonight, March 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
Today I have the rest of my projects for this March release to share with you...
The Putting Down Roots by Lizzie set is really so much fun to stamp with! I have a little plant line up here for a new home congratulations card.
I stamped lines from the Journal Accessories set on the bottom part of the kraft cardstock to give the plants a place to sit. Some of the plants are shorter than the actual stamps so they would fit onto the kraft cardstock piece I was using. Just put a post-it note lined up at the top of the pot and you can make your plant the height that you need it!
We have a few April birthdays in our family and so this card will definitely come in handy that is made with Dawn's Birthday Classics: April set. I embossed the sentiment block in white on white cardstock and then watercolored with ink refills over the top in Lemon Tart, Orange Zest, Spring Moss, and Spring Rain.
I had a little fun with some messy thread behind my stamped piece!
With this birthday card created with the Wet Paint set, I went out of my box a little and used a bright rainbow of colors to stamp thestar border on the left side of the card.
The brush script words in the set are so great and on trend. I paired the "happy" in Simply Chartreuse with "birthday" stamped in True Black. A few sequins add just a little bling to this festive card.
How sweet is this flower border that I stamped with the Just Smile set by Melissa? There are so many types of cards that you could use this for...
I stamped the stems and leaves in Ripe Avocado ink and then added the flowers in Pure Poppy, Ocean Tides, Scarlet Jewel, and Fresh Snow. Adding Fresh Snow ink to an image stamped on kraft just makes the whole thing pop, doesn't it?
And finally a card that is fit for giving on a special occasion like a wedding that I created with the new Gatsby Glamour and Dawn's Background Basics: Art Deco set. There is lots of silver embossing for an extra elegant touch with an already elegant pair of sets.
