Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown. Today I have a few more projects to share that I created with my new Monthly Moments: April stamp set.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
I really love the little umbrella and rainy day pieces that are a part of the Monthly Moments: April collection. We haven't seen much for rain yet here in Minnesota this month, but I am hoping that we will soon because the weather is finally warming up around here.
The umbrella image is designed in two parts so that you can stamp it in multiple colors. I created a fun stamped background for this card with umbrellas stamped in Ocean Tides, Ripe Avocado, Spring Moss, and then Smokey Shadow for the handles.
Although this is a card, it would be so easy to stamp the background and add the sentiment banner to a journal card to slip into a layout with rainy day pictures.
Right here is the reason that there is a mini journal card die available this month! This cute little journal pocket is the perfect size to slip into a 3" x 4" pocket in a pocket style layout. You could attach it to a traditional layout or card, and use it to hold a gift card or treat. I am sure there is potential for more uses for this cute little pocket too!
The Monthly Moments: Mini Journal Card die slips perfectly into the assembled pocket so that you can add some journaling or a special note to a loved one.
I kept with the April showers theme for my journal card. I stamped one of the umbrella images and then added the sentiment in two lines with selective inking. The lines on the journal card are stamped with the Journal Accessories set in Fine Linen ink.
