It's time for another dose of Monthly Moments inspiration for the month of March!
You can purchase the Monthly Moments products over at Papertrey Ink. There's an easy to find tab for scrapbooking right on the front page. Click that and it will take you right where you need to go! Another easy way to find the Monthly Moments products is to just type "Monthly Moments" right into the search box at the top of the page at the Papertrey Ink website.
I really love that I have yet another spread of layouts into my album. I can barely keep my family away from me as I am putting these together. Hana likes to talk about what was going on in all of the pictures and every now and then I have a picture she hasn't seen yet which gets her very excited - this time it was the one of my cat, Sage, sleeping with her paw over her face.
Here's a look at the layout spread. All of the photos I took this time where taken with our phones. "The best camera is the one you have with you" is such a true sentiment. It's also real life for us. I do love my DSLR, but realistically I don't always have it with me. Use what you have and capture the memories that are happening in front of you.
Here is a closer look at the left side.
Photos on this side include: Hana making Brownies, Tacy at a speech therapy appointment, the cat sleeping, Chad & Tacy at the mall, hanging out at the movies, and art work from the Arts for All workshop that I help coordinate.
For the title piece, I stamped the "march" word from the Monthly Moments: March set that I had inked up with Hawaiian Shores in the middle and then Simply Chartreuse on either end. The "memories" word is from the Journal Accessories set and I stamped the "more" with the Simple Alphabet set. The striped paper piece is cut from one of the Monthly Moments: March journal cards.
I inked up the arrow image from Monthly Moments: March the same way as the "march" word and stamped it onto the coordinating die cut. I stamped the sentiment on the top from A Few Pointers and then added the bottom part with my typewriter.
This pocket includes a journal card and gold sequins. I will stitch up the top of the pocket so that the sequins stay inside when I am sure there is nothing else I want to add to that layout or the one behind.
I took the journal card that I had made previously and added in journaling for a weeks time. I used the month from the Monthly Moments: Slide Frame set and added the numbers using the Simple Alphabet set. I am all about making up more of these cards to have them ready to slip into my layouts - so easy!
Here's a look at the left side.
Photos include: Hana and her cousin building snow forts, a cross stitch project I am working on, Tacy hanging out, Hana playing outside, Hana at Girl Scouts, me at a local craft event I worked at, and Chad giving Tacy a piggy back ride.
Here I typed up a bit of journaling onto the journal card and added a title with the sentiment from the A Few Pointers set, and another Sketched Star die cut.
Hana's Girl Scout troop hit a nice milestone that I wrote a little about here on the journal card, added the "this is noteworthy" sentiment from Monthly Moments: Library Card, and another Sketched Star die cut.
I couldn't resist adding a little more sequin bling into this pocket that I will stitch closed when I know I have everything I want included in it for this layout and the one that will be behind it.
Happy scrapbooking and please share the pages that you have created with me. I would love to see them!
