Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown! Today I am so excited to share more of this month's Monthly Moments: May collection with all of you! My projects also feature the new Clip Tips stamp set and dies which is a perfect companion set for creating Monthly Moments layouts!

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

The Papertrey Ink color combination for this month is: Tropical Teal, Berry Sorbet, Melon Berry, and Simply Chartreuse. I am truly in love with how these colors work together. When I am coming up with color combinations, I am perusing my inspiration files and then going to the PTI colors to put the combinations together. Sometimes I can put together a combination quickly, and sometimes it takes a bit to experiment. This is one that come together quickly and I LOVE how the journal card collection came together with this beautiful palette. I know you are going to love it too!

On to some Monthly Moments: May inspiration!

Sometimes, a design comes together SO easily and this layout was definitely that. I am planning to frame this for my wall - not all scrapbook layouts have to live in albums, you can display them for all to see! 

I started off with the Monthly Moments: Instant Photo 2 die cut from kraft cardstock. I designed this instant photo type dye with squared up corners on the outside edges and the photo opening has rounded corners. The Monthly Moments: Instant Photo 1 die has rounded corners on the outside edges and the photo opening has squared up edges. In both dies, the photo opening measures 2 1/4" square.

I stamped one of the instant photo die cuts with the new Background Basics: Venice set in Fresh Snow ink and then added the "happy day" sentiment in black ink. I love the butterfly accent that I created with the new butterfly die that you will hear about in the next few days. I layered the photo and butterfly onto the new Delicate Details die that I cut from Tropical Teal cardstock.

The leaves and flower images are included in the Monthly Moments: May set and are so easy to add around images and elements of your design. I stamped the leaves in Simply Chartreuse and the flowers in Berry Sorbet and Melon Berry.

On the other instant photo die cut used the new Background Basics: Super Chevron set to stamp the chevrons in Fresh Snow ink and then added the "find joy" sentiment in black ink. The clip between the pictures was created with the new Memory Clips die and then I added the "good things" sentiment from Monthly Moments: May in black ink.

Sometimes you can let a journal card do all the talking for your layout - and that's exactly what I did here with "the best things in life aren't things" journal card. And it's so true for sure.

Are you loving this color combination as much as I do? I have another layout to share that isn't as flowery as the first one...

Hana asked to take an archery class for her birthday and so I set one up for her that she took with Chad this past week. She loved it and did great and so I know that this will not be our last time practicing with a bow & arrow!

I stayed with a lot of the Tropical Teal elements from the Monthly Moments: May journal card collection. There is a great mix of basic patterns mixed in with the flowers and butterflies and so you have plenty of variety for different kinds of layouts.

If you follow me on instagram, you might remember the card I gave Hana for her birthday that let her know when her archery class was going to happen. I slipped that photo into one of the pockets and it works perfectly for the title of the layout. I added the Monthly Moments: May die cut from Tropical Teal cardstock along with the "6" from the new Smooth Numbers die cut to add the date of when her class was.

I used the Monthly Moments: Instant Photo 1 die cut from Tropical Teal cardstock over this picture to frame Chad & Hana shooting at the class. I stamped the bottom of the frame with the "enjoy" circle element from the Monthly Moments: May set and theh arrow images from the Clip Tips set.

Hana was pretty proud of how she did at her first class and how great is that "perfect shot" sentiment from the Clip Strip set that I stamped onto the Memory Clip die cut from Tropical Teal cardstock. The arrow on the journal card is cut with a Cupid's Arrow die cut from a cork sheet.

This was such a fun day for Hana and I am so happy to have it preserved in my album. Another one for the books!
