monthly moments: may

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown. Today I have another project to share that uses my new Monthly Moments: May set and some of the journal cards from the Monthly Moment: May collection.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have been focusing on using the 12" x 12" pocket pages for layouts and so I decided to change things up a bit and do a pocket layout with the smaller pages that fit into the 6" x 8" binder.

This layout features photos from Hana and Chad's birthday's a few weeks ago. Their birthdays are close together and so there is usually lots of celebrating and cake in our house that week!

I am so excited about the journal card collection for this month - the butterflies especially are just my favorite!

I love the sentiment on the journal card here. Because it's so true.

Do you recognize the flowers I included in the journal card collection?

I used the border image on the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die in Berry Sorbet ink and then added the "happy day" sentiment, the bitty flowers, and some butterflies in Aqua Mist. All of these images and the sentiment are a part of the Monthly Moments: May set.

The "sweet" sentimet is from the new Splat set and the "so happy" is from the new Clip Tips set that you will hear about a little later in the countdown.

The "celebrate" sentiment is also from the new Splat set and the "good times" is also from the new Clip Tips set that you will hear about a little later in the countdown.
