Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown! Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new baby Booties dies and baby sets for this release: Sweet Cheeks and Rattled. I also have a card to share that uses my new Monthly Moments: May set.

Baby cards, tags, and gifts are always something great to have on hand. It's a theme that friends who get cards from me ask for and when I have sold at craft sales, it's a popular theme! Are you ready for some great baby inspiration from the design team today for baby themed projects and gifts? I might be just as excited as everyone else.

The little diaper pins in the Sweet Cheeks set are just the cutest. I used the coordinating die cuts to create the pins for my card from Soft Stone for the pin part and then Spring Moss for the frog, Lemon Tart for the duck, and Sweet Blush for the pig. I stamped the background Basics: Super Chevron in Classic Kraft ink onto the kraft cardstock base, added the sentiment, and then sprinkled some little glitter dots that I made with a 1/4" circles punched from coordinating cardstock and glitter.

I created the tag to match, die cutting the Tag Sale #10 die from kraft cardstock, adding the chevrons in Classic Kraft, a duck diaper pin created like on the card, the "welcome" sentiment from the Rattled set, and some glittered dots like I used on the card.

Now, what about these little booties? Are they not the cutest little thing you ever did see? Erin designed die cuts to make it too easy to make these up yourself. I cut the base for my booties from Canyon Clay felt and then used the polka dot die included in the Seasonal Stitches: Butterflies die collection to stitch the multicolored polka dots (Melon Berry, Harvest Gold, and Simply Chartreuse) onto the booties with white embroidery floss. When you make the booties, you need to sew all the details first before you assemble them all together.

The options are absolutely endless in how you can put these cuties together!

I am love how this whole little ensemble came together and how it's just right for either a boy or girl baby gift.

Now, how about a card made with the Monthly Moments: May set...

This turned out so fresh and springy! I combined the "April showers" sentiment from Monthly Moments: April set with the "May flowers" sentiment from the Monthly Moments: May set. I stamped them in a permanent black ink so that they would not smear when I added a little watercoloring onto the flower images.

I stamped the leaves and flowers from the Monthly Moments: May set and then ran a water brush over the the images to soften them. The spatters I created with some Classic Kraft ink refill on a very wet brush that I flicked over the cardstock. So fun!
