papertrey ink june release wrap up

It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the June release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, June 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this June release to share with you...

Here is a card that uses the new Friendly Flowers set and the sentiment from the new Keep it Simple: Wedding set. I stamped the larger flowers in Berry Sorbet, Pure Poppy, and Scarlet Jewel. The leaves are stamped in Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado. The smaller flowers are stamped in Orange Zest.

After I stamped the flowers and leaves I ran a wet watercolor brush over all of the images to soften and give the card a more watercolored look.

For this card, I paired Friendly Flowers with the new No Strings Attached set. I love the flat stamped twine - it's going to be so great for so many applications where you don't want to add bulk to your card, but want the twine or string detail.

This time for Friendly Flowers, I stamped a line of dandelion like puffs in Fresh Snow ink on kraft cardstock. The stems and leaves are stamped in Simply Chartreuse.

I think that if I had to pick a favorite set from this release, the new Topiary Trio would have to be it. I am in love with the two step layers that remind me of doing a linocut or woodblock print in multiple colors. A little print of these topiary would be so cute framed for hanging on the wall.

I used an image from the Ombre Builders set to ground the topiary plants - I just really love how versatile this set is proving itself to be.

And finally, a card that is bright and cheery using the new Phrase Play #5 set and coordinating die along with die cut pieces from the Monthly Moments: June journal card collection.

I used the Thank You Kindly banner die along with the end of the Monthly Moments: March arrow die stamped wit the polka dot arrow pattern from the Monthly Moments: June set to amke the other little banners along the top of the card.
