Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink  August release countdown! Today I am so excited to share this month's Monthly Moments: September collection with all of you.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

This month's color scheme includes: Pure Poppy, Canyon Clay, Smokey Shadow, Simply Chartreuse, and Fine Linen. Fall color combinations are absolutely my favorite. This combination is fresh and bright, but hints to the changing fall colors and the harvest time that is upon us.

Now onto some Monthly Moments: September inspiration...

My daughter Hana's Girl Scout troop attends a yearly campout put on by our council in September and it is truly one of the highlights of the year. I put together some layouts to add into the Girl Scout album that I have started for Hana to document this year's adventures.

I kept the layout clean and simple. I want to focus on the pictures and getting them into the album. The cover page for this event has a group picture of the troop and some information on when and what the event was.

I stamped the "September" word from the Monthly Moments: September set in Simply Chartreuse ink and then added the event title "Our World Our Family" with the Antique Alphabet set (I seriously love this alphabet!) in True Black ink. I took the layout and ran it right through my typewriter to add the troop # and date. The tiny leaves in the Monthly Moments: September set are perfect for sprinkling around the background of the layout.

On the left I used the instant photo style card from the Journal Card collection to frame a picture that I took of a dock at the camp. more leaves sprinkle the background of this page.

Next to the journal card I added some sentiment stamped from the Monthly Moments: September and Monthly Moments: Slide Frame sets in Simply Chartreuse and True Black ink. The date below the photo is from the Monthly Moments: Slide Frame set.

On the right side I slid my Instagram photos right into the square pockets and then added a strip of the Fine Linen cardstock next to that. To add my journaling, I stamped the handwriting lines from the Monthly Moments: September set in Simply Chartreuse ink next to the photos and then ran the strip through my typewriter to type up my notes for each photo.

I scattered some more leaves in Canyon Clay and Classic Kraft around the strip. The "hello" and "happy" words are both from the Monthly Moments: September sets

I really like the clean look of how the pages are coming together. I couldn't resist adding some extra pops of color by cutting strips from the Monthly Moments: September journal cards and adding them to a page here and there.

Here is a look at the last few pages that I have to share today.

The left side is very similar to the layout on the previous page. The great thing about repeating layout designs is that it speeds up the time it takes to put everything together. Plus repeating elements are a great design element to include because it unifies the book - everything looks like it was made to go together and that is a good thing.

The only different element I added was the "such a good day" sentiment from the Monthly Moments: Slide Frame set.

The right side is a collection of 3" x 4" elements. I trimmed two of the photos I had to fit into the pockets.

Keeping things simple, I slipped the "fall into fun" journal card right into the pocket without adding anything to it. Sometimes you can just let the predesigned journal cards do all the talking for your layout!

In the last pocket, I added the library style pocket made with the Monthly Moments: Journal Pocket 3 die. I trimmed a journal card with the Monthly Moments: Mini Journal Card die so that it would fit right into the pocket. I typed up my journaling onto the card and added the "memories captured" to title the card from the Monthly Moments: Slide Frame set. I finished off the pocket with some leaves from the Monthly Moments: September set and then wrapped the pocket with a bit of Rustic Jute button twine.
