It's release day at Papertrey Ink! All of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the August release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, September 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.
Today I have the rest of my projects for this September release to share with you...
First up is a card created with the new Santa's Sleigh set. I really enjoyed coloring up this sweet little deer!
I used a blending pen with ink refills to color in the deer, added a little watercolor with Fine Linen ink around the colored image, and then added details with a white gel pen.
I couldn't get enough of the new O'Tannenbaum set - I used it on several projects for this release!
I love the rustic look and feel of the trees stamped on kraft cardstock. I added a stitching line across the card with a Stitching Lines die and then stitched it up with some Rustic Cream button twine.
This next card was created with the new Phrase Play #8 die. I pulled the "joy" part of the frame out and attached it to a kraft card base. I cut out the star that dotted the "j" and added a spring of holly instead.
The holly is cut with the Holly Jolly die cut from Simply Chartreuse cardstock and the berries are rainstones that are colored on the back with a Copic marker. A few more holly springs from the Holly Jolly set are stamped with Fresh Snow ink around the card background.
Next up is the new Wet Paint Holiday set that I paired with more trees from the O'Tannenbaum set. I stamped the trees in Classic Kraft ink (spritzed with water before stamped for a watercolor look) and then added the sparkles with Fresh Snow ink.
I embossed the "peace" word in white and used an ink blending tool to add a bit of Aqua Mist around it. The "on earth" is stamped with True Black ink and, although it's hard to see in the photo, I added glitter randomly through the trees.
And finally, an October birthday card using the new Birthday Classics: October set. I pulled out the Autumn Adornments set and stamped the leaves below the birthday sentiment.
I added stamped details around the leaves and finished them off with a few brown glitter dots from my stash.
Go to Nichole's blog to link up to the whole design team to see the rest of the projects that they have created for this release. You can find the supply lists for these and all of the projects for the September release over in the Papertrey Ink gallery. Make sure to stop and chat with everyone over in the Papertrey forums too!
One more thing for you before I go...
It's a peek of the new Make it Market: Tinsel & Tags kit that will be available to purchase on October 1st! I love the holidays and all things rustic and the Make it Market: Tinsel & Tags kit hits both of those marks for me. I love all of the woodsy elements and bits and pieces that Betsy included to create cards, tags, ornaments, and whatever else you can dream up!
Thank you so much for joining me for the September release countdown! Happy stamping (and shopping!) and I will see you again soon.
