Happy November everyone! I am back from vacation and getting back into the swing of things around our house. And of course, now all of a sudden the holidays are approaching rather quickly!
It's time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and we are all sharing photo card projects created with the Instant Photo: Holiday set. What a perfect project to get me into holiday craft making mode again!
When you are making a larger number of projects, it is a great idea to keep thing clean and simple. That makes mass production go so much smoother - although I am definitely guilty of wanting to add just one more unique detail that sometimes extend the project time much more than I was planning for. Sometimes it is worth it though ;)
I took a few family photos from our vacation, a greeting from the Instant Photo: Holiday set, and some glittered snowflakes and was able to quickly put together this holiday card that is perfect for sending holiday cheer to loved ones.
The sentiments in the set are so great and so easy to add to a project like this - it was hard to choose which one to use! I added the year to my card with the Library Ledger Year Additions set. I stamped everything onto a kraft cardstock strip that I pinked one of the ends on and then stitched it right to the photo.
I have to admit that the glittered snowflakes aren't exactly the fastest to put together, but the result is so worth it! If you die cut a bunch of the snowflakes out out and do your glittering in one big batch, then when you sit down to assemble it will go quickly.
The Papertrey Ink November release will be here very soon! Thank so much for stopping by today!
