monthly moments: november
November 12, 2014
Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! Today I am so excited to share this month's Monthly Moments: November collection with all of you.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
This month's color scheme includes: Canyon Clay, Ripe Avocado, Smokey Shadow, and Classic Kraft. This color combination is just one of my favorites, especially for this time of year. It just feels warm and cozy and I love it.
Here is a peek at the Monthly Moments: November kit that includes the Monthly Moments: November stamp set, the Monthly Moments: November Journal Card collection, the Monthly Moments: November die, the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6 die, and the Monthly Moments: November digital download. Aside from the digital download, all of the items are available to purchase separately. The digital download is exclusive to the Monthly Moments: November kit.
Now onto some Monthly Moments: November inspiration...
With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, this time of year always reminds me to take some time and reflect on the wonderful things I have in this life. My family is so special to me and so I used the Monthly Moments: November collection to put together a layout celebrating this big blessing in my life.
I enjoyed putting this layout together from choosing photos from a family weekend up in Duluth, to finding elements from the Monthly Moments: November collection, to adding embellishments with die cuts and stamping.
I used the "give thanks" journal card and added "for family" with the Type Strips stamp and coordinating die. I am loving this new alphabet and how they resemble the letter stickers that I have bought way too many of in my span of scrapbooking. I can stamp as many letters as I need for my projects without having to buy more and more. I am sold.
I added the "family" tab and "count your blessings" circle to our family picture with elements from the Monthly Moments: November set and few more letters to spell out the word "love" with the Type Strips set.
On this journal card, I typed up some of our family's blessings and titled the card with the "I am thankful" sentiment and letters to spell out the word "blessings". I added the berry branch stamped with Classic Kraft ink and a few dots stamped with Ripe Avocado to highlight the items on my thankful list.
Here's the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6 die in action again as a tag elements that slips right into the 3" x 4" pockets on the pocket page layouts. A bit of the tag sticks out the top of the pocket and I really like how it adds to the page. The sentiment on the tag is from the Mini Scrapbook Series: Journaling Circle set.
Here is another stamped tab created with elements of the Monthly Moments: November set on a photo of my girls.
This last journal card is one I created with kraft cardstock and some Chevron Stripe border die cuts from some of the Monthly Moments: November journal cards. I added the "happiness is us" onto a Double Ended Borders die cut along with a berry sprig from the Monthly Moments: November set. I added the year these photos were taken with the Type Strips numbers set.
This next project is a little tag book created with the Monthly Moments: November collection to celebrate some Thanksgiving memories and traditions. This little book doesn't contain any photos!
Sometimes, photos don't exist for events in our lives or maybe photos aren't the important piece of what you are trying to capture. I just took a little time to talk/journal about some of our Thanksgiving traditions that my family has been doing over the years.
I used a combination of Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6 die cuts and Monthly Moments: November journal cards for my pages in this mini book.
On some of the pages I added some sayings and embellishment. On others, I typed up some thoughts.
Some pages had a little more writing and/or embellishment and some were very simple - like the Happy Thanksgiving page.
When I got all my little pages done, I connected them at the top with a clip ring I got at an office supply store. This little book will be perfect to add to as time goes by, adding more memories as I think about them. And how fun to have sitting out at Thanksgiving for friends and family to look through!
If you have done any layouts or projects using my Monthly Moments collection, I sure hope that you will share with me! Add a link to your project(s) in the comments. Be sure to stop by the design team members blogs who are sharing Monthly Moments projects today: Ashley, Danielle & Melissa.
Also stop by Nichole's blog to see more about the Monthly Moments: November collection and link up to the whole design team - those not sharing layouts will have cards to share with you using Monthly Moments products.
Thank you so much for stopping by today - I will be back tomorrow for day 4 of the Papertrey Ink countdown with more projects to share!
