santa stationery revisited
December 01, 2014
Hi everyone & happy December to all of you! The holidays are upon us and our family is looking forward to all of the fun activities that come with this time of year. We already took some time to go down to Minneapolis to see the lights downtown and yesterday we did a little tree decorating.
It's also time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and this month we are sharing some fun projects created with the Santa Stationery set.
My girls are older and know some of the secrets of the magic of Christmas. But even so, it is so much fun to do some things to keep the spirit and magic alive at our house.
I made up some fun tags from Santa himself to attach to their gifts for Christmas morning. The tag is die cut with the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6 die in kraft cardstock for the base and Pure Poppy cardstock for the hole reinforcer.
I stamped the tags with Classic Kraft ink and distressed the edges to give it postmarked package look and feel.
I added their names onto the striped edge label from the Santa Stationery set with the Antique Alphabet set. To embellish the tag I added a glittered snowflake and North Pole seal that I stamped on Pure Poppy cardstock and punched out with a circle punch.
The next fun thing to add to their gifts will be their official nice list declaration cards from Santa. I used the hole reinforcer piece of the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 6 die to create a closure for the card and used the North Pole seal again with a bit of ribbon for an "official" touch.
Inside I stamped the declaration and added their name with the Antique Alphabet set like I did on the tags. Santa's signature is embossed in silver and then I added the North Pole seal and header in Pure Poppy ink.
How fun are these special Santa keepsakes going to be tucked into our family's holiday scrapbooks?
Make sure to visit the rest of the Papertrey Ink senior design team to see the projects that they created with the Santa Stationery set: Betsy, Dawn, Maile, and Melissa.
The Papertrey Ink December release will be here very soon! Thank so much for stopping by today!
