introducing love you to pieces & more monthly moments: december

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown. Today is another group post day and the whole design team is sharing projects created with Betsy's new Love You to Pieces collection. I also have another page from my December Moments book to share with you that is created with my new Monthly Moments: December collection.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I had so much fun creating with the Love You to Pieces collection and today I have a fun birthday ensemble created with the airplane elements that are perfect for a little boys birthday party.

I used the fold over notes to create the birthday invitation, made a little airplane favor, and even a coordinating birthday card for the birthday boy.

The card uses a part of the fold over note that I just cut out and attached to a card base. I stamped the sentiment on the piece and then added the die cut airplane, airplane trail, and clouds. Simple, sweet, and everything just coordinates perfectly.

I die cut the little airplane pieces from coaster board to build my little airplane favor. To color the airplane body, I pressed my Aqua Mist ink pad right onto the coaster board. You will need to let this dry a while before adding stamped details and assembling. For the banner on the tail of the plane, I used the Double Ended Banners die with one end trimmed straight. I stamped the sentiment and then used my tiny attacher stapler and attached it right to the back of the assembled plane.

So now onto the invitations - are you as in love with all of this as I am so far?

Inside the fold over notes, I put one of coaster board planes un-assembled to that the party invitee can have a little fun building their own airplane before the party. For the invitations, I cut Rustic Cream cardstock 4" x 4", rounded the corners to match the look of the coaster with the airplane cut outs, and then stamped the invitation elements onto it using the new Keep it Simple: You're Invited and the By Invitation set.

How fun to tear open this little package and find all of this inside?

I just adore every piece of this collection! I had such a good time with the boy version and I can't wait to put Valentines together with my girls with the girl/fox version. So fun!

I have another page to share with you from my December Moments book that I am putting together with my new Monthly Moments: December collection.

Hana had her friend Olivia over for a sleepover and they spent a little time doing some holiday crafting. I included photos of them crafting and their finished ornaments as well as a little journaling.

I used the Type Strips and new Type Strips II sets with the coordinating Type Bits Strip die to title my page and then used my typewriter to type up the journaling. I added the "merry" circle element to the photo here with the "be" to complete the "be merry" sentiment.

On the rest of the strip under the journaling, I stamped the branch and berry images from the Monthly Moments: December set. The bottom of the strip has a bit more of the glitter striped paper and a few die cut snowflakes.
