introducing monthly moments: december

Hi everyone, welcome to the first day of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown! This is going to be a fun month of projects to see from the whole design team. This month is the release of my Monthly Moments: December collection. I am working on a December Moments album and so I have a layout to share with you today from that.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

A little later on in the countdown, I will share all of the details about what's included in the Monthly Moments December collection. But, on to what I have to share with you today...

This is the cover page for my December Moments album. I am using one of the smaller 6" x 8" albums to hold my pages for the season. You can find the albums that Papertrey Ink sells over in the scrapbook section of the store. I am sure you can see that I used a bit of the glitter striped paper that I shared last week on my layout and I plan to use it through out my album.

I die cut the "december" word several times and then layered the pieces up to create a thicker title for the cover page. I added the "moments" word with the new Type Strips II set that you will hear more about later in the countdown. The pine sprigs and berries from the Monthly Moments: December set are stamped in Ripe Avocado and Pure Poppy.

I love the journal card this month! It has holed spaced along the edge so that you can stitch it up if you would like. I created a shaker journal card by layering a piece of die cut acetate over the wreath journal card from the Monthly Moments: December journal card collection that I also die cut with this month's journal card die. I stitched up the sides, added the sequins and snowflakes (they come with the Monthly Moments: December die!), and then stitched the top shut.
