love lives here revisited
January 01, 2015
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that all of you had a wonderful holiday season and were able to spend time with your loved ones or maybe even some time doing something that you love!
The first of the month means that it is time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and today we are all sharing projects created with the Love Lives Here set.
I had fun building a sweet little quilt with the square images that are included in the set. I went looking for some color inspiration to jump start my project and decided on: Pure Poppy, Melon Berry, Spring Moss, and Lemon Tart.
I stamped up the squares in all of the colors and then added the heart image in each square. I used a 3/4" square punch to punch out all of the squares. It was fun to "piece" my little quilt squares together for my card.
I attached my quilt to a kraft cardstock card base and added the sentiment and a few tiny hearts stamped with Fresh Snow ink.
Make sure to visit the rest of the Papertrey Ink senior design team to see the projects that they created with the Love Lives Here set: Betsy, Dawn, Maile, and Melissa.
The Papertrey Ink January release will be here before you know it! Thank so much for stopping by today!
