all things spring: introducing etched easter eggs & easter alleluias

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink February release countdown and 8th anniversary celebration! Today I am sharing 2 new sets with you: Etched Easter Eggs designed by Lizzie and Easter Alleluia designed by Betsy. I snuck a little bit of the new Monthly Moments into one of my projects today too!

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on February 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

Spring is in the air (hopefully soon!) and with that comes the Easter season. Etched Easter Eggs and Easter Alleluias are just perfect for creating and even though they were done by two different designers, they work beautifully together!

I stamped a rainbow line up of eggs for this card using the solid egg from the Egg Hunt set. The Etched Easter Eggs coordinate perfectly with that egg as well at the coordinating Egg die (I used the die on the next project I am sharing today.) I stamped the solid eggs first and then added the etched egg images over the top.

Both of the sentiments that I added onto the card are from the Easter Alleluia set. I stamped the "celebrate   the Savior" in True Black ink and then added the "Happy Easter" underneath it in Hawaiian Shores ink.

For this next card, I got a little fancy with the eggs. I used the Etched Easter Egg dies along with the Egg die to put together some truly beautiful Easter Eggs to include under that perfect sentiment from the Easter Alleluias set. That cross in the sunbeam that fits perfectly into the stamped sentiment? Perfection.

The Etched Easter Eggs die cuts are layers onto of the solid eggs and then I pieced in a few details of the die cuts and added a few rhinestones for some extra sparkle.

Finally, I had a little fun with embossing the etched egg images across cardstock for this scrapbook layout of my girls dying eggs. I embossed them with clear embossing powder and then stamped the solid egg from the Egg Hunt set over the embossed eggs with ink colors that I spritzed with water. That gave a very cool watercolor effect and then I went back and sponged on a little more color so that the embossing with stand out more.

I added a title and journaling onto some of the new Sheer Basics vellum. The "April" die cut is part of the new Monthly Moments: Year Round 1 die collection. The "Easter" is from the Etched Easter Eggs set and then "memories" is from the Monthly Moments: Year Round Mini set.
