introducing make it market mini kit: lovely laurels

Welcome to day 9 of the Papertrey Ink February release countdown and 8th anniversary celebration. Today is a group post day and the design team is sharing projects created with the new Make it Market Mini Kit: Lovely Laurels. I am so excited about these sweet little kits that we will be seeing as well as the continuation of the larger Make it Market kits.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on February 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
For the first card I am sharing, I stamped the wreath and bow a little bit different to achieve the effect that you can see. First I inked up the wreath in Spring Moss and spritzed it a bit before I stamped it. I patted everything dry with a paper towel and then stamped wreath again, this time with Simply Chartreuse ink. The bow I stamped the same way with Sweet Blush and Berry Sorbet inks.
I added some stamped springs and flowers and then also added a few flower sequins for bit of dimension - so pretty! And how pretty is that pink twine that tied around the card front?
This next card is so quick and easy - no stamping required! I used the pretty papers that are included with the kit. I chose the "oh, happy day" design for the focal point and then added strips of the patterned paper above and below that.
Above the focal point I added a strip of the pretty leaf garland trim and tied another piece of the pretty pink twine over that. So quick, easy, and so pretty. Working with this kit was like having a bit of springtime out on my desk!
