Welcome to the first day of the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary festivities! I am so excited to continue on with Papertrey Ink on the design team and also as a stamp designer. I love this job. Both creating wonderful products for all of you to stamp and create with and projects to inspire too.
Today I am sharing 8 of my favorite projects from this past year. There's quite a bit of scrapbook goodness that found it's way onto my list thanks to my Monthly Moments series. So without further ado and in no particular order...
The epoxy embellishments that I created and put together with these journal cards were so much fun. It is just he best when an idea in your head works out just perfectly! I used my Monthly Moments: July collection, Monthly Moments: Travel Plans, and the Get Lost set to complete my creations.
I adore this page that I created just last month with the Monthly Moments: January collection. I especially love the snowflakes design on the background that I created with Fancy Flakes die cuts and some white spray mist.
Designing and creating projects for Halloween has always been a favorite of mine. I love how this little card ensemble turned out that is created with the Happy Spooky Halloween set.
I love this scrapbook page that I challenged myself to use one of the Coin Purse Pocket dies on. The stitched pockets were perfect for tucking in some favorite photos that I had taken at a local garden we like to visit. The patterned papers on the page are from the Monthly Moments: March collection.
I have been with Papertrey Ink since the very beginning 8 years ago and it has been one of the most special and important things that I have in my life. I look back over the past 8 years at everything that Papertrey Ink has given me and how I have grown as a designer and I am grateful and amazed. The team that I work with here is the best. I was so fortunate to be able to visit with Dawn and her husband Bart this past summer when she was up in Minnesota during her visit to Mayo. It had been quite a few years since we had seen each other in person and that time together (which was way to short!) reminded me again of how lucky I am to count these women as teammates and friends. Through phone calls, texts, cards in the mail, and forum posts we laugh together, celebrate with each other, support each other, pray for each other, and share a passion for creating and sharing beautiful things made with ink, paper, and glue with all of you. Happy Anniversary to all of you at Papertrey Ink and here's to many more!
