introducing text block: you did it die & tucked in: congratulations

Hi everyone and welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink March release countdown! Today I am sharing some of the new products for this release: the Text Block: You Did It die and the Tucked In: Congratulations set.

I also do have a new set debuting for this month's release called Noted. Here's the sneak peek that Nichole shared on her blog:

I will share more about my new set tomorrow - although I did use the set on one of the cards that I created to share today.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on March 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

The new Text Block: You Did It die is just perfect for cards to share with loved ones that have had a big achievement or milestone in their life to celebrate. The new Tucked In: Congratulations set is the perfect companion sentiment set to pair with the die too.

This first card uses the die cut from kraft cardstock and then I pieced in the banners in different colors of cardstock. It's so easy to trim the shapes so that you can make this piece multicolored.

The background is a peek from my new Noted set (more on that tomorrow.) I stamped the chevron background in Fresh Snow ink onto a Soft Stone card base. It was the perfect background to layer my pieced die cut onto.

Inside the card, I used a sentiment from the Tucked In: Congratulations set and added some stars from the Super Stars set that are stamped with inks that coordinate with the cardstock colors that I used on the front of the card: Raspberry Fizz, Enchanted Evening, and Tropical Teal.

For this next card, I used the banner sentiments cut right from the die cut. I cut them from kraft cardstock and then added a pop of color on the banners by just trimming those out and layering them over the kraft die cut piece. (Yes, I see that I missed the dots on the exclamation points - I will fix that when I get a chance... probably with a few tiny rhinestones! Sometimes you don't see these things until you are writing your blog post late at night and a long time after the card was created.)

I stamped some more stars with the Super Stars set sprinkled around the banners. They were the perfect addition since I had trimmed off the original stars that were a part of the die cut.

Here's a perfect little pocket card to extend congratulations to someone. I cut my cardstock 4 1/2" x 7" and then folded it in half. I used a circle punch to add the notch to the side of the front piece, and then stitched the top and bottom closed with my sewing machine.

I kept things simple and attached the die cut in white cardstock. I added a few rhinestones for a bit of extra sparkle. You could customize/personalize the color of the rhinestones however you like for the recipient.

Inside the pocket is a little card that I stamped with another sentiment from the Tucked In: Congratulations set. A die cut star border piece in Aqua Mist across the bottom of the card was just the right touch to coordinate withe the front of the pocket.

This little pocket would also be just perfect for tucking some money or a gift card into as well.

You can see more new products from the Papertey Ink March release and projects created with them over at Nichole's blog. You will be able to link up to other design team members sharing projects today and also to the stamp designers who have new products to share this month.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
