new! make it market mini kit: clipsters & more noted

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink March release countdown. Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Make it Market Mini Kit: Clipsters. I also have a project to share created with my new Noted set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on March 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I always love a new way to make a great embellishment for my projects that is exactly what I was able to do with the Make it Market Mini Kit: Clipsters. You can customize a clip for any occasion and to match whatever color scheme you want for your project. I created cards today, but I can see these clips on tags, scrapbook layouts and mini books too!

First up, I created a card to celebrate for a birthday. I paired the Make It Market Mini Kit: Clipsters with the Birthday Style set. I stamped the candles across the card, added some of the patterned paper from the mini kit, and created 2 custom clip embellishments with the preprinted images in the kit.

I did one clip with just a little circle die cut piece attached to the top of a clip and another one with one of the fold over designs attached to another clip. The clips on the card are actually removable so that the recipient can choose to remove them for their personal use if they want.

For this next card, I created a row with 4 clips. All of the clips on this card are stamped with images included in the stamp set in the min kit. I used Glossy Accents to attach all of the fold over die cut pieces to the clips.

I backed the patterned paper piece with another piece of cardstock to make it just a bit more sturdy to attach the cups to. I attached the piece to the card front with some foam tape so it's popped up just a bit to leave room for the clips to slide easily behind the piece.

The clips here are also easily removable so that they can be used by the recipient of the card. How cute would these be for using on scrapbook layouts and even in your planner?

I have one more card to share made with my new Noted set...

I had to get in on the "smooshing" craze that's been going on - in fact, it's the Make it Monday for this week at Papertrey Ink!

I embossed the "hello"" with clear embossing powder before I "smooshed". Where ever the embossing is resisted the ink and I think it turned out pretty cool!

I used the new Sentiment Splits: Angle Vertical die to put the card together and stamped the "just a note to say" sentiment into the opening left by the die cut. It fits in there perfectly.

You can see more new products from the Papertey Ink March release and projects created with them over at Nichole's blog. You will be able to link up to other design team members to see the projects that they are sharing with the new Make it Market Mini Kit: Clipsters today and also to the stamp designers who have new products to share this month.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow to share the rest of my March release projects!
