papertrey ink march release wrap up

It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the March release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, March 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this March release to share with you...

I just really love the new Brushed Blooms set. I did a little watercolor stamping by misting the inked stamp with water before I stamped it onto the kraft cardstock.

I crumpled my cardstock a bit as well to give it a bit of a aged and rustic effect - so pretty with these purple blooms and that beautiful sentiment.

The You've Been Framed set and dies were so much fun to play with - I am sure you will be me use more of these in the future. I did a kraft frame and used the Fresh Snow linen cardstock to stamp the main focal sentiment and background pattern on.

I love how "quilty" the card feels and all of the details were so much fun to build the patterns with on the card.

Next up is a card using the new Enclosed: Graduate set and dies as well as the new Keep it Simple: Graduation set.

I embossed the graduation sentiments onto True Black cardstock with clear embossing powder and then die cut the graduation card from that. It's such a fun and subtle way to add texture to a larger shape like this.

The new Retro Graduation Style set was really fun to play with to build the "signage" for my card.

I added some confetti embellishments across the card front using the Small Sketched Star dies and the sequin die cut from the Shaker Shapes: Circle die collection.

And how fun is the new Retro Style Birthday Sentiments set to adapt the Retro Style Graduation set for another occasion?

A card like this could work for just about anyone - and how easy to swap out colors to personalize it for the recipient?
