introducing flower favorites

Welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown! Today, I am excited to share the set Flower Favorites that is debuting this month.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have always loved stamping with flower sets - who doesn't love receiving flowers like this in their mailbox?   And here in Minnesota, it is still very gray and not much is growing... stamping up my own flower garden with these stamps is definitely the next best thing! The set includes flower images that are split into multiple steps so stamping multicolored images is a breeze. I love all of the sentiment possibilities and there are a few fun little garden friends of the buggy kind that are so much fun to include on your projects. Flower Favorites does have a coordinating die set available and the Flower Favorites stamp set retails for $24.

First up, I made up a little note card set that will fit into the A1 size envelope. What a fun gift a bunch of little cards like this all together would make!

Cards like this stamp up quick with the multistep flowers. Here I stamped the daisies and added a cute ladybug friend. I kept things simple by adding the sentiment and tying a bit of the Rustic Jute button twine along the fold of the card.

I did the flowers on this next card along with the sweet little butterfly...

And how pretty is that iris? I think that flower is my favorite in the set...

For this next card, I pulled out a piece of watercolor paper and spritzed the inked iris stamps with a bit of water before I stamped them onto the cardstock.

I love how the colors all flow together and make it look like I painted the image with a brush. For the sentiment I used the "hello" from the new Graceful Greetings set that is also being introduced today.

For the last card I am sharing today, I used the daisies image to create a background pattern on the Fine Linen card base. I love the tone on tone look using Fine Linen and Classic Kraft inks.

For the focal piece of the card, I die cut the daisies with Flower Favorites die and stamped the image onto it. I used the Mat Stack 1 die for my sentiment and then attached the daisies along with a few wraps of the Rustic Jute button twine.
