introducing make it market mini kit: wee folk

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown! Today is another group post day and the whole design team is sharing projects created with the new Make it Market Mini Kit: Wee Folk. This kit is the cutest and my most favorite kit yet!

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I just fell in love with the little boy color combination in the kit and so I used that for the projects that I am sharing today. You could do every single on of the projects I created with the girl color scheme and they would look just as adorable, I am sure. I also think that the little boy color theme can also work well for a gender neutral theme too.

For this card, I stamped a wreath design with the foliage garland image in the set in Fine Linen ink onto white cardstock. I added the sentiment in the center and then just had so much fun adding the little details like the stamped birds, heart, and little die cut flowers.

I added the stamped piece to a kraft cardstock base that I had stamped with little image elements in the Wee Folk stamp set in Fresh Snow ink. And how pretty is that twine that I tied through the top of the stamped piece?

This baby card is pretty quick and simple. I used the bunny die cut from one of the preprinted papers and simply stamped a few images and the sentiment around it on a kraft cardstock card base.

I added a few strips of patterned paper to the top and bottom of the card front and a button embellishment to the middle of the garland image. I just really adore the folk art feel of all of the images in the Wee Folk kit. They are so classic and timeless.

With all of the little die cut animals that I had cut from the preprinted paper on my desk, I couldn't resist putting together a few journal cards.

Pair some of these with an album for photos and you have a lovely gift for a family with a baby on the way. Or these could be easily turned into more cards by attaching them right to a card front.
