introducing pencil me in

Hello everyone and welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown! Today is a group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Pencil Me In along with some other coordinating products and the new Pencil Pouch stitched die.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

All of the items in the Pencil Me In collection are right up my daughter Hana's alley - she is 11, almost 12! I had a great time making up all sorts of personalized things for her.

I used the Pencil Me In set and coordinating dies to create a card. I love how cute those pencils turned out! I used the new adhesive Pencil Papers to create some personalized wraps for her to decorate some pencils (she is lucky that she has a short name!) and then also used the adhesive Pencil Papers on the die cut pencils on the card so that everything would coordinate.

The Pencil Me In paper collection includes that cute handwriting paper that I used on the card and I edged the left side of it using one of the new Moments Ink: Edged dies.

I stitched up the cute Pencil Pouch for her in Orange Zest felt. I kept everything one color to match that cute chevron elastic that I found for attaching the pouch to a notebook. She's been into working on her little scrapbook and this way she could keep her pencils and journaling pens right together with the album so she can find them when she needs them!

Here are the coordinating pencils all set to go in their wraps. they coordinate perfectly with the pencil pouch too!

I accessorized her pouch with a pin that I added a felt monogram made with the Sew Stylish Alphabet 1 dies along with some dangly beads (you might recognize the paper bead from the Summer Camp Stamp-a-Faire a few years back!)
