papertrey ink april release wrap up

It's release day at Papertrey InkAll of the new stamp sets and products that the design team have been sharing during the March release countdown will be available to purchase tonight, April 15th, 10PM ET at Papertrey Ink.

Today I have the rest of my projects for this April release to share with you...

First is a card using the new Graceful Greetings set. The sentiments in this set are just gorgeous! I used another one of the sentiment on a card I shared on the first day of the countdown too. I can see myself using these sentiments again and again!

The little flower details pieces are just perfect for adding a little something more to the sentiments. I did a watercolor look by spritzing my inked stamp with some water before stamping it onto the cardstock. I couldn't resist adding a little bit of paint splatter too - it makes the card so bright, playful, and fun!

My last couple of projects I have to share have a school theme to them. I am excited about using these sets more for my girls. Here I did a first day of school card and also one to thank a special teacher.

The schoolhouse on this card is from the cute new Petite Places: School set and I paired it with the sweet "you can do it!" sentiment from the Lunchbox Love set.

This card is simple and sweet, but has a few fun extra details. I stamped the polka dot paper at the bottom of the card with the Polka Dot Basics III set. The alphabet at the top of the stamped paper is from the Teach & Inspire set. I also added a few mini stars around the schoolhouse and sentiment using the Monthly Moments: July set.

For the thank you card, I die cut the Enclosed: Apple die in True Black cardstock and embossed the sentiments from Keep it Simple: Teacher and the "thanks" from Enclosed: Apple set in white. A few smudges of some Fresh Snow ink helped to create the perfect chalkboard look.

I used the Edgers #5 die to create the fun file folder card base and when you open up the card...

There's a notebook paper tucked inside with the Tucked In: Thank You sentiment and a few other stamped elements from Enclosed: Apple and the Teach & Inspire set.
