introducing seeds of knowledge
April 13, 2015
Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink April release countdown. Today is another group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Seeds of Knowledge set and a few other coordinating products.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on April 15th, 10 PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
What teacher or mentor for your child wouldn't love a fun pencil bouquet like this? The Seeds of Knowledge set is just perfect for this cute flowery garden theme too. The end of the school year is quickly approaching for so many of us and today there is going to be a ton of great inspiration for thank you cards and gifts to express your appreciation.
Here's a look at the little container of pencil flowers. I put them all into the little pint sized container that is covered with a wrap that I stamped up with some flowers from the Seeds of Knowledge set.
I made up the flowers in my bouquet with a layer of Berry Sorbet cardstock and a layer of the Sheer Basics Vellum patterned paper. A bit of Spring Moss stitched ribbon wrapped around the pencil makes the perfect leaf for the flower too!
I added a tag to the container that I created with a sentiment from the Seeds of Knowledge set and a 1 1/2" circle punch. I tied it right to the bow I tied around the container with a bit of Rustic Jute button twine.
For my coordinating card, I stamped the same patterned that I did on the pint sized container onto the kraft cardstock card base. Then I added the sentiment that is from the Seeds of Knowledge set alone with a length of Spring Moss stitched ribbon and a few blooms to match the ones in my bouquet.
You can see more new products from the Papertey Ink April release and projects created with them over at Nichole's blog. You will be able to link up to other design team members to see the projects that they are sharing with the new Seeds of Knowledge set and other coordinating products today and also to the stamp designers who have new products to share this month.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back tomorrow with more to share!
