bitty baby blessings revisited
May 01, 2015
Happy May everyone! It's time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and this month we are sharing projects created with the Bitty Baby Blessings set.
The Bitty Baby Blessing set is one that is from way back to the early years of Papertrey Ink, but it one that you can still use and it doesn't feel dated at all. I pulled out some felt and stitched up some cute fuzzy ducklings for the projects that I am sharing today.
How sweet is this card for welcoming a new little someone into the world?
I used the coordinating Bitty Baby Blessings die cuts to cut out the duck in the felt, used a light color of ink to stamp the duck image onto the felt, and then used the stamped image as a guide to embroider it
I pulled out the Quick Stitch Sentiment dies to add the "hello" to the card front and I stitched that up with white embroidery floss.
I made up a coordinating tag to go with the card with another felt stitched duckling with the Tag Sale #10 die.
I kept many of the elements the same as the card and stamped the "bundle of joy" sentiment underneath the felt duckling.
Make sure to visit the rest of the Papertrey Ink senior design team to see the projects that they created with the Bitty Baby Blessings set: Betsy, Dawn, Maile, and Melissa.
The Papertrey Ink May release will be here before you know it - thank you so much for stopping by today!
