summer inspiration

Hello everyone and welcome to another day of the Papertrey Ink May release countdown. Today is a group post day and today we all have some summer inspiration to share using the new Quilted: Summer and Second Helping of Sunshine sets.

All of the new stamp sets and projects that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on May 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

First of all I have some summertime picnic inspiration to share that I found on Pinterest...

I fell in love with the color and feel of the photo. I pulled the following colors and started creating: Berry Sorbet, Spring Moss, Harvest Gold, and Classic Kraft.

This whole little grouping of cards that I created from the inspiration photo makes me anxious for taking my family on a picnic and picking up some special seasonal treats at the farmers market to take with us.

This cute quilt card created with the new Quilted: Summer set makes me need to go shopping for quilt fabrics. I pieced the quilt on the card using the coordinating die cut and stamped "fabric" pieces.

I stamped a coordinating piece of Berry Sorbet cardstock with the new Plaid Builders set for the bottom edge of my card. Instead of stamping a plaid design, I did a diagonal stripe design.

These sweet mini cards with the cherry bowls are done using the mini card die from the Make it Market: Party Poppers kit. I adore this sweet scalloped design and knew when I first used it that it would be one I pulled out again and again.

I stamped a little quilted border with the Quilted: Summer set to set my cherry bowls onto that I stamped with the Second Helping of Sunshine set. It looks like the bowls are sitting on a quilted table cloth - too cute!
