introducing new friendship jar dies and good times

Hello everyone and welcome to the Papertrey Ink June release countdown!

Today I am sharing project created with the new Friendship Jar dies and I also have some cards to share that use my new set: Good Times. There's lots to share, so let's get started!

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on June 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

The Friendship Jar series in a definite classic at Papertrey Ink and now there are some new Friendship Jar dies to make the sets even more versatile! This card features the Friendship Jar: Daisies die. I used it on it's own and tied a bit of Rustic Jute button twine about the stems of the bouquet.

The flowers from Friendship Jar Fillers are embossed in white on the die cut piece and then I watercolored them in using some ink refills: Harvest Gold, Summer Sunrise, Dark Chocolate, Spring Moss, and Ripe Avocado. This is a favorite technique of mine with stamping with outline flower images! The sentiment on the card is from the new Scripted set.

This next card features the Friendship Jar: Tulips die. I stamped the tulips from Friendship Jar Spring Fillers in black and watercolored them with ink refills: Berry Sorbet, Scarlet Jewel, Spring Moss, and Ripe Avocado.

I tucked them into a polka dot vellum jar that I stamped with the jar image in the original Friendship Jar set. I added the sentiment on the Double Ended Banners die cut from the new Keep it Simple: Praying for You set.

This card has saved the best for last: the new Friendship Jar: Shaker die! How perfect is the jar image for creating shaker cards? Just pair it with the Jar & Lid die, some double sided foam adhesive, clear cardstock and you are good to go.

The hydrangea image from Friendship Jar Summer Fillers is die cut with the new Friendship Jar: Hydrangea die and colored with Copic markers. I filled the shaker jar with sequins and glitter from my stash.

It was so much fun revisiting the Friendship Jar series and create new projects to share with you using the new Friendship Jar dies.

Next I have some projects to share using my new Good Times set. Here's the peek that Nichole shared on her blog before the countdown.

Good Times has everything you need to create a wonderful stationery ensemble. There is a background image that will fit across either width of an A2 card, a larger script sentiment (of my own handwriting), smaller coordinating words and sentiments, and several images to use on your creations. there are coordinating word dies as well. Good Times retails for $18.

I used the border image on this card down the side of the card. I embossed it in clear and then smooshed several colors of ink refills over the top: Tropical Teal, Simply Chartreuse, Ocean Tides, and Aqua Mist. I can't get over how much I love the effect of smooshing over an embossed image.

I added the word die cut from a Luxe Gold adhesive sheet. The effect to me is a bit of a gold foiled look that is so trendy right now - and without all of the supplies and tools you need to foil. Just die cut an adhesive sheet and when you stick it to your project, burnish it down a bit with a bone folder.

And finally, here's a birthday card bursting with some stamped confetti! I used the border image along the bottom of the white cardstock and inked it up to stamp with and ombre effect: Hawaiian Shores in the middle, Tropical Teal at the bottom, and Aqua Mist at the top.

I stamped the sentiment and then added a bit more stamped confetti with some of the coordinating images in the set and added a few gold touches with the sequin dies that are a part of the Shaker Shapes: Circle die collection and some gold ribbon that I had in my stash.

You can see more new products from the Papertey Ink June release and projects created with them over at Nichole's blog. You will be able to link up to other design team members sharing projects today and also to the stamp designers who have new products to share this month.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back soon with more to share!
