calling all bibliophiles...
papertrey ink july release wrap up

vintage linens

Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink July release countdown. It's another group post today and we are all sharing cards created with the new Vintage Linens set and coordinating products.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on July 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I have a weakness for all things vintage and so I was excited to create with these perfectly vintage themed sets for the cards I am sharing today.

First of all I did a little searching for inspiration on Pinterest...

I used the linen on the top of the pile as inspiration for the cards that I am sharing with you today.

The sets are great to stamp up something quick and easy and perfect for spending a little more time to create a card with lots of little details too.

First up is something pretty quick and easy to stamp. I used Berry Sorbet for the flower base and Pure Poppy for the flower outline. A bit of Dark Chocolate was perfect for the flower middle and I also used that for the sentiment. The leaves are stamped with New Leaf and Ripe Avocado inks.

Rickrack is the perfect vintage accent and I die cut a piece from of of the patterned papers in the Vintage Linens paper pad with the Rickrack border die.

For this card, I pulled out the coordinating dies and die cut the flowers out from patterned papers and then did some stamping on top of that. I also used the new Embroidered Borders set to add the border design in the background.

I love the dimension that the die cut flowers give the card. I added a little sparkle with some rhinestones around the flowers too.
