introducing choose joy & twig wreath

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown. Today is another group post day and the whole design team is sharing project inspired by rustic simplicity using me new Twig Wreath set and coordinating products as well as the new Choose Joy set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on August 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

You know I love all things rustic and I have been so happy and excited to create with my new Twig Wreath set. It truly is a joy when a stamp set turns out exactly like you imagined and that is definitely the case with this set.

This wreath is stamped in Dark Chocolate ink and has lots of twigs and sprigs all over it. Did you notice that the one berry sprig is designed so that you can stamp it in multiple colors? You can add berries in any color you want!

I made up some flowers with the coordinating die cuts out of some vellum. I layered the smaller flower on top of the larger one and then added button for the center that is stitched on with some button twine. They add a beautiful rustic elegance to the wreath. The striped paper at the top of the card is one that is included in the Twig Wreath paper pad.

I love the sentiments in the new Choose Joy set and they are perfect to use with the Twig Wreath set. I chose the "be your own kind of beautiful" and accented it with some die cut flower from the coordinating Twig Wreath dies and an accent image that is included in the Choose Joy set.

The bottom part of the card features Twig Wreath patterned paper and a scalloped border that I die cut from kraft cardstock.
