more twig wreath

Welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink August release countdown! Today I have another project to share using my new Twig Wreath set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on August 15, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

This card is a pocket card so the white card that you see peeking out can be pulled out by the recipient. All I did to create the pocket is trim 1" off the edge of a standard card front and then tied a ribbon around the card to secure the pocket in place. You could definitely stitch, staple, or adhere the sides of the pocket if you want something more secure.

Along the top edge of the pocket I stamped a border of flowers using the flowers and foliage elements in the Twig Wreath set. The sentiment on the front of the pocket is from the new Keep it Simple: Home set that is also debuting this month.

Here is the card that is inside the pocket. I used a sentiment from the new Tucked In: New Home set, added some stamped elements around the sentiment, and a strip of the coordinating Twig Wreath patterned paper along the bottom edge. The pocket would also be great for tucking a gift card into to wish someone congratulations on their new home.
