teach & inspire revisited

Happy August, everyone! Summer is just flying by and it's not going to be long before we are getting our girls ready to go back to school - this year I have one in junior high and one starting at the high school...!

The beginning of August means that it is time for the Papertrey Ink senior design team challenge and this month we are revisiting the Teach & Inspire set. Can you think of any set more perfect for back to school?

The Teach & Inspire set has sentiments that are perfect for thanking a teacher. 

I stacked up several of the sentiments onto a Monthly Moments: Spiral Notebook die cut for this card and then stamped up three apples in a row underneath them.

The polka dot background is done using the Polka Dot Basics III set stamped in True Black ink onto Smokey Shadow cardstock. I attached the stamped piece to some Pure Poppy stitched ribbon with a small stapler before I attached it to the card front.

Revisiting the Teach & Inspire set gave me the perfect opportunity to create some tags to add to their scrapbook pages for this upcoming school year. I die cut some apples using the Enclosed: Apple dies for the tag bases and added the notebook pieces die cut with the Monthly Moments: Spiral Notebook die onto the apples. The Simple Alphabet set was perfect for stamping the personalized details.

I added a pencil that I stamped onto kraft cardstock and cut out with a small stapler to the tag front. You can see a little more of that polka dot paper that I stamped peeking out from the bottom of the notebook pieces. 

You could definitely swap out the personalized stamping that I did on the tag with a sentiment to make this tag perfect for attaching to a back to school gift for your child or their teacher!
