introducing treetops glisten

Hello everyone and welcome to day 2 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown. Today I am sharing the new Treetops Glisten set that was designed by Maile with you.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I really love pine trees for the winter and holiday season and the new Treetops Glisten is all that. For this first card, I had fun stamping the trees and adding the stamped layered elements onto a couple of them. You can keep the trees simple or dress them up as much as you like.

For the sentiment, I made it shine by stamping it in a metallic gold ink and then embossing it with a hologram glitter embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment out and popped it up a bit over the stamped trees. I scattered some stamped stars from the Super Stars set all around the trees in Classic Kraft ink.

For this next sweet little card, I die cut the basic triangle tree shape from several different patterned papers and then stitched those to the kraft cardstock in a row. Each tree is topped with a silver star that I die cut with the Dangled Stars die from one of the Luxe Silver adhesive sheets and I folded up the edges of the trees for a bit of extra dimension.

I stamped the sentiment underneath the row of trees in True Black ink and then spattered a bit of white onto the kraft cardstock for a bit of a snowy background effect.

For this last card, I die cut and stamped up a bunch of trees in Pinefeather and Ocean Tides to make this little forest row. This patterned paper from the Treetops Glisten paper pad was the perfect snowy background.

The sentiment is stamped in black above the trees and I added a glitter die cut Small Sketched Star next to it.
