quick & easy holiday wraps

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink September release countdown. Today is another group post day and the whole design team is sharing some quick & easy wrap ideas using some of the great new products from this month's release.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on September 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I am so excited about the new Minute to Make: Holiday Tag 1 & 2 sets! These are so quick and easy to stamp up - you are going to love them! This tag was stamped with the Minute to Make: Holiday Tag 1 set with 4 easy steps: stamp the polka dot tag in True Black, stamp the Pure Poppy border, stamp the reindeer in Ripe Avocado, and then stamp the sentiment in True Black. 

The tags are cut from the new 160# white cardstock that is just PERFECT for tags. They are so sturdy. You need this cardstock for tag making.

I added an eyelet in each tag (which you wouldn't have to, but I did because I love that detail) and then tied them up with some bakers twine. I have one of the tags tied around a pillow box that I made with Pure Poppy cardstock.

Next I have some tags that I made up with new Ribbon Slider dies and Ribbon Slider Sentiments stamp set. This is another quick and easy thing you will need for your holiday wrapping - and really for anytime of year! I die cut the tags from kraft cardstock and stamped the tree image onto it with Simply Chartreuse and Dark Chocolate inks.

I embossed the sentiment over the top of the stamped tree image in white and then added a few rhinestones to trim the tree up a bit. I tied one of the tags onto a glassine bag that I stamped polka dots onto with some white acrylic paint. The resulting look is very professional looking! I love it.

I don't think that I could ever have too many ideas for packaging up gift cards. We give more and more of these as gifts every year. How cute is this little bag pocket to tuck a gift card into that is created with the new In The Bag stamp set and die?

I die cut the bag from kraft cardstock and added the sentiment in Pure Poppy and True Black inks. I dressed up my "bag" with some snowflakes that are a part of the new Snowflake Medallion die collection. I attached everything to a Pure Poppy card base so you can write a message to the recipient right inside the card.

And finally, I have a cute felt tree ornament to share created with the new Christmas Tree Change Up collection. I changed the tree box into a flat ornament that I trimmed with red, white, and silver beads. The tree itself is made from Spring Moss felt and stitched up with some embroidery floss. You could attach the ornament to a gift, or use the ornament as a gift itself!
