introducing monthly moments: mini slide frame

Hi everyone and welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink November release countdown! I am excited to share a new set that I have being released this month called Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing will be available to purchase on November 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

You might remember my previous set called Monthly Moments: Slide Frame and this new set is a great companion to that one with a smaller slide frame version. There are lots of little sentiments to personalize the frames for your scrapbook and paper crafting projects. The frame itself has so many possibilities: framing a picture, adding a bit of journaling, framing a monogram, making it into a mini shaker, and more! Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame retails for $15 and there is a coordinating die cut that will be available to purchase as well.

I have a scrapbook page to share with you today that uses the slide frame and sentiments from my new Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame set. This page features a few photos that I took of my girls just doing some regular everyday things in our home. These are some of my favorite types of photos to take and go back to look at.

This scrapbook page is also a great peek at the new Stormy Sea color that is being released this month :)

I die cut the mini slide frame with the heavy tag stock so it would have a bit more dimension and stamped a sentiment on each frame with the new Stormy Sea ink. Instead of cutting the photo to fit into the little frame, I just placed the frame over the part of the photo I wanted to highlight. 

I made my own strip of "washi" tape with a 1/2" strip of the Stormy Sea patterned paper that I tore on each end and added to the top of each photo.

I made up a card to use as the title block on my page with the Monthly Moments: Library Card set and the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 1 die. The sentiments that make up the title are from the Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame, Monthly Moments: Library Card, and Monthly Moments: August sets.

I had a little fun making up some cork embellishments that I die cut from a cork sheet and then stamped two of them with sentiments from the Monthly Moments: Mini Slide Frame set using a permanent ink. They turned out so cool!
