introducing petite places: barnyard and more xoxo

Welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown. Today is another group post day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Petite Places: Barnyard set. I also have another project to share today created with my new XOXO set.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

I created a flat card with the Petite Places: Barnyard set in a sort of chalkboard look. The chalkboard look is just perfect for a country themed card like this one. I took 4 square that I had punched out of True Black cardstock and embossed elements from the set onto each one with white embossing powder.

For the background on the card, I revisited the Background Basics: Farm and Barn set. I used the chicken wire on the Scarlet Jewel card base and added a wooden border with the woodgrain stamp on the Classic Kraft cardstock.

The coordinating sentiment set that goes along with the Background Basics: Farm & Barn set is so much fun. I used the "hay there" sentiment stamped with True Black ink on kraft cardstock and punched it out with a circle punch to add to the card front.

Finally, today, I have a card to share that is created with my new XOXO set...

I had fun stamping all of the hearts cascading down the card front in Pure Poppy, Berry Sorbet, and Lovely Lady. I did some generational stamping as well to achieve many different tones of color.

For the sentiment I glittered the "be mine" sentiment and added the stamped "valentine" underneath it.
