Welcome to day 5 of the Papertrey Ink December release countdown! Today is another group post day and the whole design team is sharing Valentine cards with the new Be Mine, Valentine and Valentine Pin-Ups sets. We are taking those Valentine cards and with a few changes, making them into something that you can use for another occasion. I used my new XOXO set in both of the Valentine projects that I am sharing today too.

All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on December 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

First up is the Be Mine, Valentine set. I just love the typewriter in the set and so I chose to use that image for my project.

For the Valentine card, I stamped the background in Fine Linen ink with sentiments from my new XOXO set and stamped the typewriter on top of that with Smokey Shadow and True Black inks. I added some paper coming out of the typewriter with "XOXO" stamped onto it in Pure Poppy ink.

I switched the card up to a birthday card with just a few changes. I stamped the background with a birthday sentiment from the Keep it Simple: Birthday II set and the sentiment stamped under the typewriter in True Black is also from that set. For the paper coming out of the typewriter, I used a sentiment from the 2012 Birthday Tags set.

Don't you've how easy that was to make the card work for another occasion? 

Next up is the Valentine Pin-Ups set. I just love all of the cute options in this set and fell in love with the cute little fox!

First up is the Valentine card. I used the sentiment hearts from my new XOXO set as heart balloons for the fox to hold along with the "I'm Yours" heart. I used the tiny heart stamped randomly around the background in Pure Poppy ink. I just love how this card turned out - so cute!

To change it to a birthday card, I stamped and die cut some actual balloon images and then had the fox hold a little banner with the "happy birthday" greeting on it. Again, I love how this card turn out too!
