Hi everyone and welcome to day 1 of the Papertrey Ink January release countdown. Today I have 2 new sets to share with you that are making their debut: Go For the Goal and Thanks, Coach.
All of the new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on January 15th, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.
Go For the Goal is a soccer themed set that adds to Papertrey's sports set collection. It includes a jersey, soccer ball, and even a field play diagram that you can customize for your project. Go For the Goal retails for $15.
Thanks, Coach is a perfect companion set to all of the sports themed sets and it perfect for thanking a coach for their time and dedication at the end of the sports season. Thanks, Coach retails for $15.
Onto the projects that I am sharing with you today!
I stamped the jersey in my girls school colors - you can do whatever colors that you want to match the team/player that you are cheering on. I added a silver star that I die cut with the Cover Plate: Stars die. The soccer ball I cut out with a circle die and then I added a shaker star that I made like the hearts in my previous post.
The sentiment is stamped onto the Pure Poppy strip of cardstock and then I stamped some stars in the background with Classic Kraft ink on the kraft cardstock base. This card is all set to give to a favorite star player!
I had to do a tag in the stitched shaker card style and this one is perfect to attach to a gift to thank a team coach. I stamped the "coach" word on the Enchanted Evening tag base with Fresh Snow ink and added the "thanks" in True Black ink above it. Let the ink dry completely so it doesn't rub off on the clear cardstock tag die cut that you layer on top of the tag base.
I stitched the tag together with embroidery floss and before I stitched all the way around I added some star sequins into the pocket. I finished the tag off with an eyelet and a bit of twine so that it's ready to go.
Finally, here's another card perfect for thanking the soccer team coach. I stamped the soccer ball and the field play diagram from the Go For the Goal set onto white cardstock in Fine Linen and Classic Kraft inks to create the background pattern.
The sentiment is put together with the thanks Block Talk die and the "coach" word from the Thanks, Coach set.
You can see more new products from the Papertey Ink January release and projects created with them over at Nichole's blog. You will be able to link up to other design team members sharing projects today and also to the stamp designers who have new products to share this month.
