introducing petite places: home & garden

Hi everyone and welcome to day 4 of the Papertrey Ink January release countdown. Today is another group day and we are all sharing projects created with the new Petite Places: Home & Garden collection - this will be the last in the Petite Places series. I think this little house is my very favorite in the Petite Places series!

All of the new new stamp sets and products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on January 15, 10PM ET, at Papertrey Ink.

For the card, I just used a portion of the house to stamp a little garden shed. I added a little row of flowers on each side of the little shed - they are too cute. I had some tiny flower confetti that I added along the flowers for a fun detail.

The sentiment is just perfect for a little gardening card like this. I cut everything out with a circle die and then matted it onto a Stitched Circles die that I had stitched up with some embroidery floss. I used the new Background Basics: Splats set to make a tone on tone background with Spring Moss cardstock and ink.

I put together the cute little house for this jar topper. Isn't it the cutest? It was so much fun to add all of the little elements and details to the little scene. The little swing in the tree is my favorite.

Before I adhered down the dome over the top, I added some Terra Textures and flower confetti. I adhered some right to the house path, around the tree and in the flower gardens and then I also left some loose along with the flower confetti so you can shake it around a bit in the topper. I stamped the sentiment and punched it out with a circle punch and then tied it to the dome with a little embroidery floss.
