introducing tiny town series
February 07, 2016
Welcome to day 3 of the Papertrey Ink February release countdown and 9th anniversary festivities! Today we are introducing the Tiny Town series by Betsy Veldman. It's taking the Petite Places to the next level so you can create little buildings on a bit larger scale.
I used the Tiny Town: Church die to create a pocket style card for Easter. To create the pocket, I used the Monthly Moments: Journal Pocket 2 die cut from Spring Moss cardstock and then attached the church die cut to the front of it. You could use the pocket alone to deliver a sweet little sentiment or gift to someone, or attach it to a card like I did here.
Inside the pocket is a little prayer card (isn't the church just perfect for this idea?) that I stamped a verse on from the Beautiful Blessings set. The prayer card is die cut with the Monthly Moments: Mini Journal Card die.
The "Easter Blessings: sentiment is from the Keep it Simple: Easter set that you will be hearing more about later in the countdown. I stamped it onto polka dot Sheer Basics vellum to add it to the card. This little sweet church could be a card for a wedding, baptism, confirmation, or to send someone some encouragement. I love the possibilities!
Stop by Nichole's blog for more, 9th anniversary contest details, and to link up to the rest of of the design team to see the projects that they are sharing today using the new Tiny Town series.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back with more to share very soon!
